Ever Feel Like You’re Unraveling?

For most of my life I exemplified the well-worn ideal that success, peace and tranquility only come through struggle. That is, you gotta earn it. When my athletic career came to an end I jumped on the corporate wheel and became a self-indentured achiever. And by all conventional measures I was very successful until that wheel nearly crushed me. Running on caffeine, adrenaline, alcohol, peer pressure, adulation and ego I was beyond stressed out and my body was broken down. Just as I was about to crash, help arrived.

The seeds of my awakening initially came in the form of the physical practice of yoga asana. I loved how it made me feel. While I was healing my body an invisible energy progressively nudged me toward deeper work. Teachers arose to meet me, cultivating movement, breath, relaxation and meditation.

I won’t bore you with my life story other than to say that the struggles you’re facing are more than likely also my own. The pain, confusion, distraction and frustration you may be feeling have also been my own. I’d still be running on that diabolical struggle/achievement samsara loop if I hadn’t discovered how to breathe, relax and befriend my own nature as a Human BEing. When that happened all of the teachings and traditions I’d studied and sifted coalesced into a flexible system that delivers vibrant transformational experiences nearly anyone can have right now.
